Amos 5:8-10

⁸ He who made the ^(A)Pleiades and Orion
And ^(B)changes deep darkness into morning,
^[a]Who also ^(C)darkens day into night,
Who ^(D)calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the surface of the earth,
The ^(E)Lord is His name.
⁹ It is He who ^(F)flashes forth with destruction upon the strong,
So that ^(G)destruction comes upon the fortress.

¹⁰ They hate him who ^(H)reproves in the ^[b]gate,
And they ^(I)abhor him who speaks with integrity.
